September, 2023

September marks the end of summer (even though it is still hot!) and an opportunity to expand your gardening knowledge and learn new skills. Here are a few ideas:

Tree Keepers are volunteers who have the knowledge and skill to serve as a leader in tree planting and tree care. The class takes place over 4 Saturdays beginning September 9th. The series is taught by our own Ashley Troth, Durham County Extension Agent and Katie Levin, an ISA board certified Master Arborist. 2023 Keynote Speaker and Plant Swamp

Duke Gardens Doris Duke Center

The plant swap will be from 6-7 pm and the keynote will begin at 7 pm.

Bryce Lane, horticulturist and host of In the  Garden with Bryce Lane will discuss “Shade Tolerant Plants that add Texture and Color”.
