Successful herb gardening utilizing both indoor and outdoor techniques will be addressed as well as treatment of pests and diseases that may be encountered. Also mentioned will be harvesting, preservation and perhaps an interesting recipe use or two.

Tantalize Your Senses with Herbs Sat 3/11 10am – 12pm Durham Garden Center, 4536 Hillsborough Road, Durham, NC

Presented by Faye McNaull and Lynne Nelson, Durham County Extension Master Gardener volunteers. Durham County Master Gardeners, Lynne Nelson and Faye McNaull, also known as “The Veggie Queens”, will discuss how to grow herbs in containers for year-round enjoyment. Herbs, in combination with veggies and flowers, offer endless possibilities for the home or apartment balcony gardener. Requires registration.
