“Tomatoes on Trial,” Chapter Two: Tomato Trials the Master Gardener Way

Among the markers for our “Tomatoes on Trial” project at Briggs was the first cultivar to ripen. We found these on July 6, two days after Master Gardener volunteer Eric Wiebe tasted the first “trial tomato,” grown in his garden.
