Planning and Preparation for the Garden #13030
Saturday, February 8, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Join our very own NC Tomato Man, Craig LeHoullier, as he teaches about ways to prepare yourself for a successful growing season. He will cover everything from which plants are the best to direct seed and which are the best to start indoors. Expect to learn about veggies, herbs and flowers, but he will focus on tomatoes, peppers and eggplant.

Cheese Making #13128
Sunday, February 9, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Join the owner of Bull City Farm, Samantha Gasson, as she teaches about all the different bacteria, molds and coagulants to choose from as you are making cheeses. This class is designed for the kitchen cheese maker. We’ll demystify the whole process and make a few one-day cheeses. You’ll go home with the skills and knowledge necessary to start.

Using elbow grease and wool batts as well as luscious colors and textures of mohair, angora, and wool fleece and yarn we will create a dynamic design. This fabric square will be suitable for a lovely hot pad or decorative wall piece.
