Simple Drip Irrigation For Container Gardens
Saturday, May 24, 2014 10:00am – 11:30am
Where:Durham Garden Center, 4536 Hillsborough Road, Durham, NC (Map)

The biggest challenge for container gardening is keeping up with watering.  The answer is automation using a battery-operated timer and connecting tubing bits to assemble an efficient, mini-drip irrigation system on a deck, porch or stoop.  Go on vacation knowing your plants will be watered.  Use water more efficiently. You’ll never go back to hand watering again once you see how this works. Using soaker hoses in your garden will also be covered. Georganne Sebastian, Durham County Master Gardener. Class is free/Registration is required. 919-384-7526 or ann3dgc@gmail.com
