The Durham Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual seedling sale makes low-cost bare-root vine, shrub and tree seedlings available to residents in Durham and surrounding counties. Most seedlings are 2-year-old bare-root plants. This year’s sale features fruit trees, shrubs and vines. The seedling sale ends on January 19, 2018 or until all seedlings are sold. Seedlings will be available for pickup on January 19th (7am to 6pm), at the Durham County Agricultural Building, 721 Foster St. Durham, NC 27701.

Bird boxes, rain barrels, wildflower seeds and gift certificates are also available on an ongoing basis. All proceeds benefit Environmental Education.
